Attention to your Baby…

Quality time with your baby.
Reading to your baby at a very early stage has proven to do wonders for his or her development. Babies love and enjoy  listening to reading. Isn’t it better they bond with you than the T.V., digital games or computers? These items are sometimes used as baby sitters. Reading provides excellent bonding time for baby and parents.

Babies learn to hear even from the womb. They recognise their parents voices. How beautiful it would be for them to recognise God’s voice through His Word?

Tell a child about Jesus today. Tell your Sunday School Group, tell your Holiday Bible Club, your nieces and nephews are waiting if you don’t have children… The future generations are waiting for you to take them by the hand and lead them to Christ. It is your responsibility as a believer in Christ. Amen.

THE UNSEARCHABLE RICHES IN CHRIST
He is Almighty God and His Ways are perfect. He is answerable to no one. He does exactly as He pleases and in the way He pleases: All His ways are excellent.

He is a wonder: He does great and mighty things. He is bringing to pass His will on earth, in exactly the way He planned to, He is a mysterious God.

If you are a believer in Jesus Christ, you are privileged. The depth of Christ’s riches belong to you. Whether Jew or Gentile, you have been chosen among many. This is not because of anything you have done, but because of God’s mercy and grace. Until Christ returns, those who belong to Christ will continue to come to faith in Christ.

This glorious doxology of praise in Romans 11:33-36 is an expression of the mystery of God’s conscious providential dealings with Jew and Gentile. The mind of God goes beyond our own thought and reasoning. It brings out praise and astonishment from Paul when He thinks and speaks about it.

The depth (bathos), means what is, immeasurable, incalculable, imponderable in God’s mind, and this applies to His Riches, Wisdom and Knowledge. Who can fully understand the mind of Christ in His plan for salvation? Who has been His counsellor!

He preached the whole counsel of God.
Paul testified to both Jews and Greeks without reservation. He taught publicly, also going from house to house, so that people would turn in repentance to God and have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 20:20).

With much danger and opposition, Paul persevered and pressed on. Without fear, he shared the gospel. He equipped the Believers with everything they needed for their spiritual development. He held nothing back. Paul lived a consecrated life. He was persistent, dogged, tenacious, resolute and determined to preach the unsearchable riches of Jesus Christ every where he went.

Paul was all things to all people so that He could win them over to Christ. He was a Jew when he was with the Jews, and a Gentile when he was with the Gentiles. He did everything possible to reach everyone. He preached the two sides of the gospel coin: repentance to God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Whether publicly or privately, Paul was not ashamed of the gospel. He declared the whole counsel of God. The message of salvation through Jesus Christ alone.

The Legacy of Christ:

A beautiful Sculpture is a testament to its Sculptor, just like the famous painting points to the painter, and a building its architect. Anything worth admiring speaks volumes of the one who made it.

If you are a child of God you have something great to declare to the world: The greatness and majesty of the Creator God. His very own people declare His deeds to succeeding generations.

Kingdoms come and go, dynasties come to an end, but God’s Kingdom is eternal. It is everlasting and forever. It continues and endures from one generation to the next.

You should not expect the world to declare aloud the knowledge, works and deeds of God, you and I have the responsibility to do it.

As a child of God, you have a testimony on your lips. You have Great News to pass on to those coming behind you. Christ is the legacy you must leave behind.

The Word of God contains every thing future generations need to know about Him. God’s Words reveal His heart. God’s heart is Christ. He is the beginning of all understanding.

Without the knowledge of Christ, future generations cannot know God. To have a personal relationship with God, you first of all need to know Him. It is Christ that brings transformation to the human life. Future generations cannot know God outside of His Word. Any generation that does not know God, is lost one…

Christ is the legacy you and I must leave behind before we go home. Nothing else will remain, nothing else matters. The greatest human efforts will crumble, but the Word of God remains FOREVER AND EVER.

Be bold and courageous

Be bold and courageous:
I was walking along a pathway that leads to a park when a gentleman passed by with a toddler on his shoulders. I felt the Lord prompt me to give him a copy of “Have You Not Heard About Jesus?”

I told about him about the book I have for children, he read the title and gave the biggest smile I could ever imagine. He held the book with both hands and was just looking at the title. He then showed it to his son who was eager to see what his dad was holding in his hands.

The stranger then told me he was a Christian and that he and his wife attended one of the local Churches in the area. I then told him if he needed more for the Children’s group within his Church, he should just request one through the web address on the book.

The moral of the story: never be afraid to talk to strangers when the Holy Spirit prompts you. Never be afraid to ask the question “Have you heard about Jesus?”😀

Christ is light that shines in darkness. The light of God affects every area of the human life, which is naturally dark without the light of Christ.

The Light of Christ brings TRUTH. It brings warmth to the coldness of our hearts and lives. It brings purity, safety, comfort, prosperity and glory. It brings joy and gladness.

Guilt before God.

What makes the Believer in Jesus Christ different from the ordinary man and woman on the street?

All men and women are created in the image of God. There is neither Jew or Gentile, rich or poor, black or white, ruler or subject before God, they are all the same. As far as their Guilt is concerned, everyone stands guilty before God.

What distinguishes the Believer from every other man and woman on the street is their belief in Jesus Christ, absolutely nothing else. (Romans 3:23).

There is only one way of Salvation: JESUS CHRIST. “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” (Romans 10:11)

There are many children, men and women roaming on the face of the earth today, lost in their trespasses and sin: a chosen generation of people, yet to come to the saving knowledge of Christ. Somebody has to preach the gospel to them, will it be you?

The Souls of children are crying for their Saviour. Will you be the one to lead them to Him? Think deeply about this.
