“Beer -Lahai- Roi”

“Beer – Lahai- Roi.”

I pray this month of September you will sing a new song. Hagar experienced the Lord’s compassionate hand at “the well of water.” She got into a tricky situation, through no fault of her own. Sarah put her in the way and she became pregnant with Abraham’s child.

The Lord saw Hagar in her distress and came to her. The Lord shows mercy to whoever He desires ( Romans 9:8). Hagar is the first and only woman in the Bible to give God a name. She called Him, “The God who sees me” (El-Roi.)

The Lord did not ignore Hagar’s cry. He came to her and showed her mercy. The angel of the Lord refreshed Hagar by “the well of water,” and till this day, the well is called, “Beer-Lahai-Roi.”

Genesis 16:13-14

“She gave this name to the Lord who spoke to her: “You are the God who sees me,” for she said, “I have now seen[c] the One who sees me.” 14 That is why the well was called Beer Lahai Roi[d]; it is still there, between Kadesh and Bered.”

May the Lord Bless you, refresh you and bring you out of every distressful situation. Wishing you every divine blessing. If this post has blessed you, kindly share it and bless others.

Heavenly Treasures Ministries.

Heaven is Your Reward.

Heaven is your Reward.

Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourself Treasures in Heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also (Mathew 6:19-21.)

The world says love yourself.

The Word says love your neighbour.

The world says everyday belongs to you, live as you please.

The Word says dedicate the Sabbath to God

and keep it Holy.

The world says, store up treasures on earth,

The Word says, store up treasures in Heaven.

Proverbs 6:9 describes the person who lives for pleasure. Philippians 3:7 talks about whatever in the natural sense is counted as earthly gain, should be counted as loss, for the sake of Christ.

No one wants to lose their reward. Would you rather choose this world over your Heavenly reward? Let us earnestly seek God with all our hearts. Let us try with all our hearts to keep the flame burning. Fight the good fight of faith.

Help us identify those things that conflict, contradict and collide with your Word, O God.

The Cares of This World

The Cares of This World

“I have just bought a piece of land and I am building a house.”

“I have just started a new business and I need to invest my time in making it grow.”

“I just got married and I need to spend time with my spouse.”

Excuses! Excuses! These were the reports the servant brought back to his master about the guests his master had invited to the feast in Luke 14:15-25. It was clear none of the invitees would partake in what was prepared for them.

Christ is inviting you this hour to -come feast with him – at the table of grace. It’s an open invitation. You do not need any money to attend. Come see what He has prepared for you.

The question is, will you come!?
