Pray for Benue
Benue is a State located in the central part of Nigeria, West Africa. In the past few years there have been clashes between the local farmers and herdsmen. Many of these militia herdsmen have invaded Nigeria from neighbouring countries.
Thousands of men, women and children including pregnant women and babies have been savagely killed since the massacres started in Benue State, Nigeria. Whole villages have been displaced, causing chaos, suffering and hopelessness in communities.
There is no accurate account of the total number of people brutally murdered on a daily basis. A few days ago, a Church in Gwer East Local Government, Mbalom Community in Benue State Nigeria, was attacked by hired killers passing through the porous borders of Nigeria from neighbouring countries. Two Catholic Priests and over eighteen members of the congregation lost their lives to these militia herdsmen. People from Christian communities are being targeted and killed everyday.
⁃ Pray for God’s protection over Benue State.
⁃ Pray that the blood shed and massacres will end.
⁃ Pray that God will intercept and stop further attacks from its source.
⁃ Pray that God will comfort the bereaved and the displaced families.
⁃ Pray for the Salvation of Souls
⁃ Pray Christians globally will reach out to the affected people and communities in Benue State, Nigeria, West Africa.
⁃ Pray for the Church in Nigeria to be spiritually alert.
⁃ Pray God will send helpers to the displaced people.
⁃ Pray that Nigeria will secure its borders.
⁃ Pray for peace and security in Nigeria.
⁃ Pray the incessant killings and insurgency across Nigeria will END.
⁃ Pray that those behind the murders be swiftly apprehended and face Justice.
Blessing God in your wilderness
Take a walk through a wasteland and you will discover there is not much to see or hold on to. It is while going through desert situations like this that many have sought and seen God’s presence (Psalm 63:1).
In the desert of Judah, David sought God’s face. Canaan was a fruitful Land with dry places, however, David’s heart did not stop yearning after God. He rejoiced with thanksgiving and praised God through His wilderness experiences.
There is a Heavenly Canaan that you look forward to as a Believer in Jesus Christ. It is a city where there is no sorrow, sickness or sadness. Even while you await the glorious return of Christ, you can rejoice right now and be glad. Let there be great expectation and hope in your heart.

Wishing you every divine blessing in Christ,
Today and always,
Promised to the Jews, but also the Gentiles will partake in it.
Privileged in Christ
The children of Abraham, those who are called by God, a chosen and elected people, will come together in the end. They will be one fold under the kingship and headship of Jesus Christ.
Christ came to confirm His promises to the Patriarchs, those promises from the beginning of creation, that the Gentiles might also partake in what God has promised and glorify Him.
Praise the Lord for His merciful kindness. Hallelujah.
“I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd” – John 10:16
“For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility” – Ephesians 2:14
Words of Wisdom From Proverbs.
Proverbs is full of proverbial sayings written down in a poetic form of comparison and parallelism in order to give us understanding.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, but fools despise wisdom and instruction. The Proverbs in the Bible are Words of Truth from the heart of God.
Taking advantage of poor people is spiritually and morally wrong. It is an act of injustice to afflict people who are already afflicted. Solomon reminds those who would carry out such shameful and dastardly acts against the poor that a great judgement awaits them…
The wise person has empathy and blesses the weak. He or she does not oppress them.
The Generous Soul
It is a divine honour to be someone who is benevolent towards others. The liberal person readily helps others, even when it is inconvenient to do so.
The water that flows from a fountain is continuous. The hand of a giving person is like a fountain, as soon as it gives out, it is replenished.
Hands that are readily open towards the needs of others shall be rewarded accordingly. Let us be faithful in being generous towards others. Bless someone today.

A burden for the oppressed and needy.
King Solomon’s mother fondly called him Lamuel, it was a name she affectionately called Him. He also called himself by that name as we see in the book of Proverbs. She gave Him good advice about life, including how to use his wealth judiciously.
Social Justice and Charity demands that we uphold the rights of the downtrodden, and speak up when we see injustice and abuse. As followers of Jesus Christ we are to speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves. We have a moral duty to do so.
Let us be tender hearted towards those in need. Let us not keep silent at injustice, but speak out and condemn it. More especially, let us remember the thirsty souls of the needy.

Acts of Mercy
To the merciful, God will show himself merciful. We are saved by grace and there are rewards for faithfulness.
Matthew 10:42 says, “And whoever gives one of these little ones only a cup of cold water in the name of a disciple, assuredly, I say to you, he shall by no means lose his reward.”
God looks at acts of kindness to the least in society as love towards Him. Do you love God? Let us be kind and compassionate and live according to God’s Word. Bless the less fortunate and needy today. Show kindness, be merciful.

Followers of Jesus Christ have a place of refuge, a strong tower to run to in the day of trouble.
There is a city of Refuge where the righteous are kept safe from the oppression of wicked.
The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run into it and they are saved. Amen.
