An appeasement made on your behalf…

Righteous Advocate, Propitiation for our sins.

In His mercy and Grace, God provided a way out, a way of Salvation for a world He created. According to His plan and purpose, He had to redeem a people He loved, but they were separated from Him by Sin.

We have a High Priest, Christ our Saviour, who continually intercedes for us. Even when we make mistakes, according to God’s Faithfulness, He forgives us of our sins. Christ our Righteous Advocate, makes Propitiation, appeasing God’s wrath and anger, on our behalf.

The Ultimate Sacrifice, Christ the Son of God, still speaks for us today. This is how the Father has demonstrated His love to guilty sinners. All those who believe in Christ, will live and reign with Him, eternally. Hallelujah.

Very recently, I travelled to a prayer centre, it is a place I go to rejuvenate and dedicate my time to spiritual matters. This centre has a prayer room dedicated to each continent.

The Africa Room

The “Africa Room” has the best allocated room and position in the prayer centre building, it is set apart, almost like a maisonette, with its own exclusive entrance. The Africa room is positioned nearest to the library and coffee room within the centre.

However, on going into the Africa prayer room, I felt very uncomfortable, as I looked at the heavily stained carpet and walls where people had been praying, leaving their finger prints and marks on the four walls. The room felt dark, dirty and cold.

As I started to pray in the room, I felt the Spirit asking me to move to another room, on the opposite side of the building. The entrance to this side of the building opened to a cluster of other prayer rooms, unlike the side of the building that exclusively hosted the Africa prayer room.

The prayer rooms in this side of the building also had their own names: Europe, South America, Asia, Australia and North America prayer rooms.

I opened the door to the South America room and I immediately felt the warmth, inviting me to fellowship, and spend time with God in prayer.

The first thing I noticed in this room was an open bible, placed by the only window in the centre of the room. I felt it was a room where a lot of intimate prayer had taken place, a place where people spent quality time in God’s presence.

As I settled down to pray, I asked the Lord why I felt so uncomfortable in the Africa prayer room and why I had to move. The Lord spoke so clearly to me and I had to immediately write down what you are reading now.

He said to me the Africa room is a picture of Africa. A continent stripped of it glory and beauty, plundered and only used for what can be taken out of it.

He showed me Africa as the most beautiful continent on earth, with the most resources. He showed me the overwhelming abundance of the produce of the earth, rich jewels, minerals and everything good He planted in Africa. He told me He had given Africa His best, but it was a continent abused, used and stripped of its glory…specifically a place used for what people can get from it. A placed used for what people can take, with nothing being put back into to it to replenish it.

He showed me the nations of the world using Africa for what they can get, stripping it of all its resources and putting nothing back in.

I then thought about how people treat God. Never spending time with Him, never having any intimate relationship with him, only going to Him for what that can get, taking from His hand, never desiring to spend time with Him or building up a relationship with Him.

Think about your relationship with God. Do you have a relationship with Him or is He only used for your wants and needs?

Remember, regardless of your wants and needs, you stand before a throne of grace and you are to approach it just as you are.

Perhaps, some of you who know this centre I am writing about and have been going there for several years, but never thought of sending in a donation. Why not send in a donation for the refurbishment of the Africa prayer room?

How many people can pass through a Narrow Gate?

Narrow gates are not normally comely to look at. There is rarely much design to them. Sometimes they are very low, so that a person has to bend low to enter its entrance. They can often be there without being noticed. Only one person can pass through it at a time because of its narrowness.

On the other hand, you will rarely pass by a Broad Gate without noticing it. Its height and width are unmissable. Broad Gates are entrances to the fanciest plazas, palaces and places of enjoyment. Thousands flock to these gates because its entrance is so wide and alluring, allowing multitudes to pass through at the same time.

The Bible uses the Narrow Gate and Narrow Path to illustrate the difficulty of the journey to Heaven. It comes with many difficulties, however, leading to Eternal Life.

You will meet many challenges if you are separate from the world. Chose who you will serve today. Repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand.

Have FAITH in God.

The Children of God.

“As many as received Him”- John 1:12

Whoever receives Jesus Christ, whoever believes in His name: He gives the right to become a child of God. Whether Pharisee, Sadducee, learned, unlearned, male or female, to them He gave the privilege of sonship to God.

Who are those adopted into God’s family?

The family a person is born into does not qualify them as a “son of God.” The Church a person attends does not qualify them as a “son of God.” Only those who have become born again (they have received the new-birth) have been re-born into |God’s family. Only those who have been adopted into God”s family, can be called a true son or daughter of God. To them, He has given power to become a “son of God.”

You become a child of God by faith in Jesus Christ alone (Galatians 3:26). Whoever believes that Jesus is Christ, is born of God (1John 5:1). There is no sonship to God without living faith in Christ. Those who believe in the son of God are the true sons and daughters of God.

Come boldly before His throne of grace today. Receive Jesus Christ, accept Him with a willing heart today. Take Him as your personal Lord and saviour. . Rejoice and again I say, Rejoice

The Comforter

It takes faith to receive Comfort from someone you cannot see. The Lord is a Comforter and He Comforts us from all sorrow by His Spirit.

Whatever your affliction know that the Lord is on your side. In the difficulty that God allows, remember His faithfulness. He is true to His Word, He will Perfect all that concerns you.

God loves you, He will never leave or forsake you. He has promised, according to His Word, to love you forever. This is what all Believers are assured of. God’s Word, His unfailing Love and mercy never fails.

The Lord Cares for You

The Lord Cares for You

The book of Isaiah gives us understanding of Christ’s nature, His Mission and His relationship with His Church. Isaiah gave so many prophecies about the coming Messiah.

The Lord would be the strength of Judah, the One who cares, a fortified tower that the righteous run to and are safe (Proverbs 18:10).

Those who wait upon the Lord will never be put to shame. They shall rely on the Lord for their strength. They shall mount up with wings as eagles, having their faith renewed daily. The Lord shall deliver them from the hands of their enemies. They shall learn to be patient and wait on God in trials. They shall not grow weary or tired as they look to God.

Peace With God

Peace With God

By Faith in Christ, you are justified and have the privilege of being at peace with God. Peace is part of what Christ purchased for you when He gave His life as a Living Sacrifice.

We must remember it was Sin that separated us from God. Once that sin was taken away, the relationship between God and man was restored. Those who have faith in Christ are no longer strangers, but loved sons who have a relationship with the Father.

By Faith, we receive the promises of God, which includes PEACE. The cleansing power of the Blood of the Lamb has purchased “Peace with God” for all who believe in Christ.

An Incorruptible Inheritance

An Incorruptible Inheritance

A great inheritance is kept in Heaven for Believers in Christ. From the foundations of this earth, a chosen generation, a people foreknown, a people set apart, have been given an incorruptible inheritance, which can never fade or perish.

Redeemed by the Blood

The Son of God gave himself up, paying a price to redeem souls with his own life. He was that perfect sacrifice, a spotless lamb, without blemish, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.

The incorruptible promises of God still stand today. Christ became a substitute and He did it out of Love. He has brought those, chosen by grace, into a new way of life, not by silver and gold, but through His own blood.

In whatever format Believers in Christ meet, there are many privileges and advantages of the people coming together as one.

The nourishment of the soul is of utmost importance and this takes place when Believers gather together to hear God’s Word. (Mathew 16:26).

God’s power is present wherever Believers meet. Mathew 18:20 says, where two or three are assembled in my name, I am there among them.

Faith is increased, as the members of the Body see and imitate the lives of their Leaders (Hebrews 13:7). Likewise the Leaders in the Body of Christ, become encouraged when they see the fruit of their labour. ( John 15:4-5).

The Body of Christ increases in numbers when the gospel is proclaimed (Acts 2:41-42, 47). It perseveres in its call and mandate.

No one knows the day of the Lord’s return (Mark 13:32), however the Bible gives us clues (Luke 21:29) and asks us to prepare and be ready like the wise virgins in (Matthew 25:1-13).

Every child of God should, “watch therefore”(Mathew 25:13) because the Lord will appear like a thief in the night (2 Peter 3:10) and catch many unawares and unprepared.

While the enemy goes on a wild rampage distracting the Body of Christ, I pray you will be among those who stay alert, are watchful and are ready. I pray you be among those who will rejoice and be glad at the Lord’s sudden return. Amen.
