Who shall separate you from God’s Love?
As a Believer in Christ, the opposition that comes against you is multi-faceted. There are internal battles, as well as external.
The internal battle of a guilty conscience:
The spirit that condemns is real. It weighs a heavy load on the shoulders, inflicts the mind with worry and fills the heart with fear. Romans 8:1 declares, “there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ…” Hebrews 10:19 says, we should come boldly before God’s throne of Grace, by the sprinkling of Christ’s blood and the New Covenant. Christ sets the guilty sinner free.
The external battle of a hostile world:
The hatred, hostility and enmity of a world that opposes Believers in Christ is real. All day long they suffer persecutions, just as Christ said in John 16:33, “In this world you will have trouble.” 2 Timothy 3:12 says, “In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.” The Believer is known to go through hardship and 2 Timothy 2:3 says we should bear up like “good Soldiers.”
God’s Love never changes:
What is that internal or external battle that you are struggling with? What will separate you from God’s Love? Will that hardship or persecution change the way you feel about God? Christ has Loved you, despite you, Child of God, before the foundation of this world. His Love for you is eternal. It never fail, it will never change.
