Rescued; Freed; Liberated

Justified by Christ

Christ paid such a huge price to disentangle those who believe in Him, from yokes of bondage.

Paul asks those who have come to Faith in Christ, to be on the look out for those doctrines and teachings that cause them remove their hope in Jesus Christ; giving them a misplaced hope a. Christ justifies all who believe in Him and His righteousness is imputed to those who believe in Him.

“Stand therefore,” be firmly rooted, be faithful to the Gospel Jesus Christ proclaimed. The gospel is free and does not depend on the laws, ideas, concepts or ideologies of man. Faith in Christ gives Believers the liberty to walk as free people, led by God’s Spirit.

God’s divine grace enables the Believer to come boldly before God’s throne of grace. In grace and mercy, you can live everyday, in obedience to God’s will.

The veiled and unveiled heart…

The veiled and unveiled heart.

The Lord is a Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is found, there is Liberty. The New Covenant frees us from the covenant that is dependent on man.

The glory of God is now here, and every child of God, has God’s glory embedded in their heart. The righteousness of God liberates the child of God. The Believer in Christ is made “JUST” by Christ. He or she no longer stands condemned before God.

The veiled face cannot come boldly before God because it has a veiled heart, it sees righteousness through the eyes of another and through self works.

The unveiled heart is liberated; it is free; it comes boldly before God’s throne of grace and mercy. The Spirit of God dwells within this heart and it resides there forever. The Spirit of the Lord brings holiness and sanctification. The unveiled heart is a free heart because it is no longer a slave to sin.

Tablets of stone can be broken, but the Word of the Lord lasts forever ( Isaiah 40:8).

Jesus always spoke in parables, and when He spoke about “freedom,” His hearers failed to grasp the true meaning of His words.

Attending Church, being part of prayer meetings, partaking in all the functions and ceremonies, does not make you a child of God. You are not a citizen of God’s Kingdom by the external activities you do. There are many spiritually dead who partake in all these external ceremonies and observances, hiding under the banner of “Church.”

The Israelites believed, as Abraham’s descendants, they were free, automatic inheritors of God’s Kingdom.( John 8:33) They got angry when Jesus spoke otherwise…. (John 8:33-37). They forgot how many years they spent in bondage to the Egyptians, and other nations. Egypt represents the world and worldliness. Many in CHURCH today, who claim they are children of God, are soul-tied. “Soul-tied” to Egypt, “soul-tied” to the world and worldliness, “soul-tied” to a past way of living.

There is clear difference between a slave and a son. A slave is not entitled to what a son is entitled to… Christ always spoke in parables, so that we would listen, enquire further and gain the spiritual understanding of His Words.

There is coming a time of separation, where the true children of God, saved by grace, shall be separated from the false ones. The true sons and daughters of God will inherit what has not been built with human hands: a glorious inheritance, reserved solely for God’s children.

Christ is a friend to the dispossessed, restoring what the devil has stolen.

The Joy & Liberty of God’s Kingdom

Our Heavenly Father, The most merciful and compassionate One, brings exceeding joy to the lonely. He places the solitary in families.

Once held bound in Egypt, the children of Israel were a scattered people, but God delivered them, rebuilt their lives and restored them. In God’s sovereign grace, He sets captives free and brings them into a new family, to which Christ is the Head, the first born of the brethren.

In God’s Kingdom, there is a new way of living with new rules and regulations. Those who come to Christ, are admitted into God’s family, where they find mercy and grace. They are clothed in robes of righteousness. However, the rebellious live in a dry land: In this land, Christ has no rule over their hearts, neither do they submit to His ways.

ELohim, EL- Shaddai, Yahweh – Sabaoth, EL- Roi are just some of the names of the High and Glorious One.

When God arises, His enemies are scattered. They disperse like smoke and melt like wax at His presence (v.1&2). Psalm 68 is a celebration of the forward march of the children of Israel. While once they were held hostage, now they were set free, out of the clutch and grip of their enemies.

David raises his voice in rich praise of God in Psalm 68 and acknowledges Him as the “Father to the fatherless and the Defender of widows”. Yahweh Sabaoth is one who arises and moves swiftly into action on behalf of the defenceless and weak. Those who fight God’s People, fight God.

To all who depend on EL Roi for protection, you will never be put to shame. He is the God who sees…He sees and knows all things. There is nothing that is hidden from Him.

You can be confident in prayer when you know you are “praying according to God’s will.” For you to come boldly before God’s throne of Grace, is what God desires ( Hebrews 4:16).

The judgments God makes are always according to truth. What God knows, is true. The effective and fervent prayer of the righteous person will avail much, because this person prays according to God’s righteousness ( James 5:16).

A sincere heart can produce the most heart-felt prayers, but God will never gratify our desires against His own glory. You can be bold and confident that when you pray “according to God’s will.” You can stand in faith, believing that your requests, petitions and prayers shall be answered, even though they may not be answered immediately.

Welcome to February: The Blind live for this world.

There is a clear difference between the visible and invisible. The world, as it stands, is a dark place, with disappointments and injustice. What you physically see on this earth, is not promising, especially to the Believer in Christ. It speaks nothing of the promises spoken of in the Bible.

What God has promised is concealed; imperceptible and incomprehensible to the eyes and minds captivated and controlled by the temporary sights and scenes of this world.

“Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” Hebrews 11:1

Faith opens up your eyes to spiritual realities. Faith sees a better place; a glorious estate; eternity with all its implications.

Do you live out your life by faith or is your mind set on what this world has to offer? Be expectant, there is something to look forward to…

Conquering Fear and Doubt

David, the fearless shepherd, mighty warrior and powerful king, was afraid at some point in his life; this may come as a surprise to many. The fact is that he did experience fear. In 1 Samuel 21:12, (please read passage), he got into a tricky situation, and the Bible records Him as being afraid.

David did not discard his “Trust” in God. When he was afraid, he said,

“I put my trust in you” (Psalm 56:3b).

Faith and fear can operate at the same time, but fear will not have the upper hand when your trust is in God.

Conquering fear and doubt with faith.

Faith will pull you towards the light during your darkest hour. Faith holds on to God’s promises and will not allow doubt have its way. The grace of God, will hold you and bear you up, when the whole world seems to be crumbling around you. God’s Word is the solid unshakable ground upon which you will stand.

Look to God…

There is danger, in putting your trust in fellow human beings like yourself. They have weaknesses, just like you, but this is very hard to see, when you depend on them.

The “Princes” and “Sons of Men” of this world are often occupied with the cares of this world, and have little understanding or time for spiritual matters. The decisions that impact the soul, have little or no meaning to them, because they are enveloped in the cares of this world.

As child of God, you are to be led by the Spirit of God in all you do. The Holy Spirit is a helper, and to be led by the Spirit of God is to be coveted. To be Spirit led is what every Believer should desperately desire.

Never be afraid to obey God, even if you do not physically have the means to do so. If you pray according to God’s will, that which you are praying for, will be surely accomplished (1John 5:14).

God’s Faithfulness

God is faithful in blessing His children.

There is nothing that God will withhold from those who faithfully obey Him.

When the children of Israel cried out to God, He redeemed them from the hands of the Egyptians. He removed them from the place of Slavery. God promised that He would fill their mouths, if they opened their mouths wide.

God is able bless you over and above your desires and expectations. It is of utmost importance to know God’s voice and to do His will in every area of your life. God answers prayers.

God has more than enough abundance in His treasury to meet you at your point of need. Yield your heart and mind to Him today. Reach out to God’s grace and mercy today.

“For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.” Psalm 84:11
