The Beautiful Soul of a God-Fearing Woman.

The Beautiful Soul of a God-Fearing Woman.

Happy Mother’s Day USA. This short message is dedicated to Mothers, Sisters, Aunties, Grand-Mothers, Carers and all the precious women of God who take care of others.

Christ beautifies her, He takes His rightful place in her life. She knows her King. She has a moment by moment relationship with her Lord and Saviour. She is a wise woman because she fears the Lord (Proverbs 9:10). Her beauty is unfading, it is built on Christ.

Her husband, children, family, community, honour and commend her. Like her Saviour, her goodness flows to others. The spirit of giving precedes her, she is generous and kind to the poor and needy.

She bears ever-lasting fruit because she abides in the eternal One, Christ. She speaks wisely, yet Her wisdom speaks for itself. Even after she is gone, her soul lives on. Give her the fruit of her hands, give her the praise and acclamation she deserves.

The fulfilment of God’s Plans

The counsel of The Lord for this world must stand.

God rules and reigns over the nations though they rage against Him. God is eternal, His ways are not our ways and His plans often contradict ours. The point is that God has a duty to fulfil His promises.

Every human being on this earth is subject to God’s authority. Whether good in our eyes or not, the plans and purposes of God must stand. The rebellion in the heart of man cannot change God’s plans. God will do as He pleases.© Ruth Dickson

Psalm 2

Why do the nations conspire[a]

    and the peoples plot in vain?

The kings of the earth rise up

    and the rulers band together

    against the Lord and against his anointed, saying,

“Let us break their chains

    and throw off their shackles.”

The One enthroned in heaven laughs;

    the Lord scoffs at them.

He rebukes them in his anger

    and terrifies them in his wrath, saying,

“I have installed my king

    on Zion, my holy mountain.”

I will proclaim the Lord’s decree:

He said to me, “You are my son;

    today I have become your father.

Ask me,

    and I will make the nations your inheritance,

    the ends of the earth your possession.

You will break them with a rod of iron[b];

    you will dash them to pieces like pottery.”

Therefore, you kings, be wise;

    be warned, you rulers of the earth.

Serve the Lord with fear

    and celebrate his rule with trembling.

Kiss his son, or he will be angry

    and your way will lead to your destruction,

for his wrath can flare up in a moment.

    Blessed are all who take refuge in him.

The Influence of God’s Word

The Influence of God’s Word

The ear is the gateway to the soul and the main source of spiritual nourishment.

It is only God’s Word that can bring any genuine change to a person’s life. Only God has the power to transform lives and change hearts. The spiritual condition of the heart and mind remains the same without the transforming power of the Word of God. Repentance and faith come through the hearing of God’s Word.

The authenticity of God’s Word cannot be contested. It is a solid Rock. Every other ground is sinking sand.

True Spiritual Fruit.

True Spiritual Fruit in Christ

The only Fruit that will remain is the Fruit produced in Christ. There is no true spiritual fruit that can be produced outside of Christ.

God’s Word says we should draw near to Him with a sincere heart. It is the blood of Jesus that is sprinkled on the heart to cleanse it and remove a guilty conscience.

The Holy Spirit has purging power. The Word of God washes us. It is the pure water of the Word that cleanses. The purging power of God produces Faith.

It is only the Fruit produced by the Holy Spirit that produces fruitfulness, holiness and righteousness.

Exceedingly Fruitful

Exceedingly Fruitful – John 15:1,2

The branches that are connected to the Vine live, bud and bear much fruit. The child of God in agreement with Christ will produce abundant fruit and fruit that will remain.

The natural mindset is carnal and set in its own ways. Christ is the worthy One who produces worthy fruit in us by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Every true Believer in Christ has true and real union with the Him. Faith and holiness are fruits of this union. The Spirit of God is never far from a true worshiper. The Father is a carer who takes great care of His children, leading them every step of the way.

Those who know their God understand they have a good Father who prunes the life of His children. The reality is that every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire (Matthew 7:19). The Child of God should never despise the chastening hand of the Lord ( Hebrews 12:6). Pruning is a sign of God’s Love, it is for your own adjustment and good.

The person who produces good fruit is united with the Father. The true child of God is known by their fruit. These fruits are not produced by the works of the flesh. It is the anointing that works in the life of a Believer to produce good fruit.

The Vine Series 2018

The Wild Grapevine’

The Vine Series: John 15:1-8

The Wild Grapevine

Over-grown with weeds, neglected, disorderly, unkempt, is how you would describe an overgrown vineyard.

A crowded wild vineyard normally has such tiny fruit because it receives little sunlight. Deprived of the sunshine it needs, fruits buried under heaps of foliage will have little space to grow. It will take a good gardener, a farm expert -a vinedresser- to help keep a well pruned garden. A vinedresser makes sure the vine receives all the water and sunlight a vine needs for its branches to grow. These branches will produce an excellent and healthy crop.

Many who call themselves Christians today have their lives cluttered with so much junk they have little or no Light within them. Christ is the Light the Christian needs to produce good fruit. The Father has given Christ everything He needs to make sure His followers produce good fruit. Worldliness, covetousness, stubborn wills, the unhealthy desire for prosperity and abundance are what make the Christian produce shrivelled fruit.

The spiritual influence of Christ in the life of a Believer cannot be compared to another. Christ is the water the Believer needs to quench thirst. Christ is the food the famished soul needs to feed hunger. God the Father is the Vinedresser who keeps out the nasty weeds, enabling us to lead godly and righteous lives.

The Church that is built upon Christ, the Church which has Christ as its influence will be a healthy well nourished Church. Its members will produce healthy fruit and fruit that will remain.

The Vine Series 2018

To follow these series I humbly ask you to follow this blog, comment, share this post, remembering always that you do not follow me! I am just a vessel used by Christ.

Christ the True Vine

Christ The True Vine

Christ is often given names that declare certain aspects of His beauty like The Rose of Sharon, The Lily of the Valley, The Bright and Morning Star,  The Lion of the Tribe of Judah.

The Vine is not a beautiful like the Rose and the Lily. It is rough and not a pretty site to see. All Christ’s glorious names reflect certain aspects of His character. Christ was humble and lowly and the world did not find Him beautiful. Christ comparing himself to a Vine is an expression of His humility.

In John 15, Christ is called the True Vine. He would be the Vine that would set His Government over the Church. The  branches that are connected to the Vine will bear much fruit. It is possible for a Branch to produce fruit that is withered and dried up. It is God’s desire that our lives produce godly fruit and it is of utmost importance to stay connected to the Vine. May you be that Branch who abides in the Vine. I pray you will be the Branch who produces a rich bountiful harvest with healthy fruit.

The Vine Series

The Vine

The Vine

This month of May, I shall be blessing and encouraging you with notes on “The Vine.” The Bible presents many pictures of Christ. In scripture, Christ is personified and expressed in so many ways. The Vine is used an illustration of Christ and the Bible presents it perfectly and beautifully.

Christ is the True Vine, the perfect fulfilment of all the other types and shadows. I pray you will be blessed by this series. Christ is The Vine that brings God’s people together. It is of utmost importance for us to stay connected to “The Vine.”

The Vine, of a grape vine, can stretch to great lengths and cover a vast expanse of area. Just like the Vine, the gospel of Christ shall be spread to the four corners of the earth. The Elect shall be saved. Amen
