The first human to be Cyrocronically preserved was Dr. James Bedford. He did it of his own accord and even left instructions and resources for a steel capsule to be made and liquid Nitrogen to be used for his preservation.
In simple terms, “Cyropreservation,” is a process where after death, a person’s body is preserved in temperatures below -130 °C. The main objective of this is for the person’s body to remain intact, with the intention of resuscitating them in the future. Those who do it, do so with the hope and belief, that with medical advances, many years down the line, they would be woken up from the dead and cured of the disease that killed them.
Though Cyronics started with a handful of people requesting preservation in the 1960’s, more and more in this present time and era, people are signing up for it and legally ensuring that it takes place after their demise.

Life after death
In many respects, it is very clear that those who believe in “Cyropreservation” believe in life after death. They believe that it does not end when the spirit leaves the body, but that somehow their physical bodies can be resurrected. They believe that the progression of science, cures will be applied to their preserved bodies and that for certain they will live again.
Indeed, even the Bible supports that there is life other death. It speaks affirmatively about life after death. John 11:25 says, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet he shall live.” John 5:24 says, “ Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgement, but has passed from death to life.” John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” Matthew 27:52 says, “The tombs also were opened. And many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised.” Rev.1:18, “I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades. “
Undeniably, there is life after death, a conclusion which many people still do not believe. The Bible openly teaches that there is only one way of guaranteed life after death and that is through faith in Jesus Christ. He died on a cross, making himself a substitute for sinful mankind, (Romans 5:6). He rose again and His followers, those who have faith in Him, will also rise again.
Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ today. He is the way the truth and the life. No one can come to the Father, except through Him (John 14:6).
