The first human to be Cyrocronically preserved was Dr. James Bedford. He did it of his own accord and even left instructions and resources for a steel capsule to be made and liquid Nitrogen to be used for his preservation.
In simple terms, “Cyropreservation,” is a process where after death, a person’s body is preserved in temperatures below -130 °C. The main objective of this is for the person’s body to remain intact, with the intention of resuscitating them in the future. Those who do it, do so with the hope and belief, that with medical advances, many years down the line, they would be woken up from the dead and cured of the disease that killed them.
