Nothing can separate us from Christ’s love:
Whether “tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness or peril or sword,” none of these things can separate us from the love of God. Halleluya!!! The Lord has overcome them all. The earth and its fullness and all things above, powers and principalities are subject to His power.
Absolutely nothing can frustrate God’s purpose. Those who belong to God have the victory because of the greater One that lives on the inside of them (1John 4:4). He gave up His son to save His elect, a justified people through Christ.
The child of God will face many challenges while they live on earth. Temptation, tribulation and tragedy will exist on earth until Christ returns, however, we are promised victory over them. God’s Word does not say that we won’t go through adversity. What it does say, is that nothing will separate us from the love of God.
The believer is not hopeless. This should never be taken for granted because there are a people who live without any hope. They are hopeless ( Ephesians 2:12, 1Thess.4:13). God’s love is poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5). Hope anchored in God’s redeeming love is hope secure.
The full display of God’s love is displayed on the cross (Romans 5:8, 8:32,37).
Let us shout for joy and rejoice in the hope that does not disappoint. Those who have been justified by faith and have been reconciled with God, cherish this kind of hope (Psalm 22:5).
